Hey Cpt Marze,

I work with Daniel at 15, I'm out of the last basic class. Really enjoying it there.

Been keeping up with you through Daniel, hope you keep getting better by the day. You're in our thoughts and prayers

Luther, after so many years of running into burning buildings for others, it seems ironic that now 'being burned' is the way to save your own life. When we chose the career as a Fire Fighter we knew it would take us down some rough roads.
It take a Hell of a man to be a great Fire Fighter, and as your battle continues... You are at the top of the List.
Good luck from M.E & B.L.and both Jrs on our side.

Hello Capt Marze,
I also work with Daniel, he also was one of TO's in basic. I came through basic with Clyde in Class 48 (the best class!) and truly hate that he is no longer on SFD however I hear life has been treating him well. I was the only female in our basic and Daniel was a great TO. Mainly because he was a pushover and hated to punish us when he should have (maybe he gets that soft side from you) Anyways, I know that you dont know me but I wanted to take a moment a send you a prayer, and an encouraging word, that you are being thought of everyday throughout this battle , even by people you dont know. Good luck, and hang in there!!
Sincerely, Kim Scheckles

I don't know you and have never "yet" prayed for you....aquired blog site from friend on facebook. Your story touched me because our family was affected by the word "cancer" in February. Started Chemo in March and will have last treatment on June 22nd. I had NO IDEA the affect of radiation. We just thought the chemo was bad. I appreciate the way you give glory to God for getting you through this...there are just things in life that I can't imagine not knowing that He will "never leave us or forsake us." You hang in there and now you have one more person praying as you continue to recover.

Man, I think I can go through anything now, and my wife says if we ever face what ya'll have that she is going to try to have a sense of humor like your wife. You don't know us but we are friends of a friend who started forwarding us your updates weeks ago so we have followed your progress. We're praying now that your upcoming scans will show no cancer. Thanks for allowing us to be part of your journey.
